Holiday Lowers Tin, Metals Trade in China

Reuters reported that the Chinese New Year holiday has quieted trading on metals in China, and volumes were lower for these commodities, including tin.

As quoted in the market news:

Three-month tin, untraded in rings, was bid at $24,950 per tonne from $24,850 at the close on Wednesday, while zinc was $2,160.5 in rings from $2,170.
