China Raises Resource Tax on Tin

Friday February 17, 2012, 2:53pm PDT

Bloomberg reported China increased resource taxes on tin and five other minerals on Friday.

As quoted in the market news:

Tin ore with 40 percent content in Yunnan is about 120,000 yuan a ton, and the new tax for the highest grade is 20 yuan, according to Wu.
